How to Upload:
Step 1. At the top of the page click the 'Upload' link.
Instruction - A pop-up window should have opened, it should be the uploader. If a popup did not open, Click Here.
Step 2. Read the information in the box in front of you. Understand the Connection Terms (Click a link called 'Connection Terms' and read the terms). To start the setup of your upload, click the 'Next' button. To close the pop-up, click the 'Cancel' button.
Instruction - When you click the 'Next' button, a new area should open. If nothing happens when you click 'Next' or 'Cancel', Click Here.
Step 3. Look for the box that has a 'Browse' button next to it. Click the 'Browse' button. A pop-up should open and ask you to locate your file, please find a file you would like to upload, only if it's a ZIP, RAR, MP3 or AVI file type, it will upload. When you have found a file that is under 13MB and is an allowed file type, double click it.
Instruction - When you select a file, it will fill out the box next to the 'Browse' button automatically.
Step 4. Look for the box next to the words 'File Name'. In this box, enter a file name (like 'Metal Gear Solid 4 E3 Trailer 2007'). You do not have to type a name exactly like the way the file is called (like 'sp26855_DISKDRIVE UPDATE'). You must have at least 5 letters in order to upload, and a maximum of 100.
Instruction - Be aware you cannot use BBcode or HTML syntax.
Step 5. Look for the box next to the words 'File Description'. In this box, enter some file description. You do not have to add any description in order to upload, but you are only allowed a maximum of 3000 letters.

Step 6. Look for the box next to the words 'Password Protect?'. In this box, enter a password if you want to password protect your file from random people. If you would like to share your files with friends, family and contacts or you just want to upload backups of your files, then you can restrict access to those who only know the password to the file. To activate password protection, enter any password (up to 16 letters long). Do not use a password you would use for other password fields.
Instruction - When someone tries to download a password protected file, they will be asked for a password in order to get access to the download. It is not a guarantee that your password is 100% safe.
Step 7. Press the 'Upload' Button to start the upload process.
Instruction - At any time of upload, you may cancel the process by clicking the 'Cancel' Button. If you are having trouble uploading large files, Please consider that it is not our Network, it may be your internet browser or internet service provider (ISP), as we allow a maximum of 2 days uploading time (for each upload).
How to Download:
Step 1. Check if you are in the Radefiye download location: www.radefiye.com/download/
Instruction - The download location is not where you will download from, but in order to download you must visit the download information page (like www.radefiye.com/download/aBcD-1212-12-12-2009/).
Step 2. On the download page, look for the 'File Name'. If this is the correct file, you should read the description if there is any.
Instruction - The file name is not the name of the file, but what the uploader named the uploaded file.
Step 3. Check the size of the file. Make sure you are okay with downloading a file as big as it is.

If the file is an MP3, it is a compressed audio track encoded with multiple techniques and strategies. An MP3 file is compatible with most computers involving a media player. If the file is an AVI, it is a video/audio file which is a flexible video/audio codec file. AVI is compatible with most computers involving a media player, but AVI files may require codec's you don't have, in order to have as many free codec's as possible, download a multi-compatible media player called 'VideoLan'.
Step 5. Look for the button called 'Download' and click it to activate the downloading process (There may be a short wait before the download if the server is busy). If it doesn't work, click the text called 'Direct Link Download' (or better, right click the text and select 'Save Target As...' (For Internet Explorer) or 'Save Link As...' (For FireFox)).

How to report broken Links:
When there is a page on Radefiye that links to another website or a page on Radefiye that doesn't link to itself properly (like clicking connection terms does not show up correctly), you need to let an Admin at Radefiye know. Simply email the issue to glitch@radefiye.com or send a private message to error17 in the forums.
What is Link Exchange?:
Link Exchange is the agreement between two websites to help each other get indexed legally in search engines. Radefiye Networks simply allows another domain to manually enter their domain name into the Link Exchange page so that Radefiye can add it to its 'crawl/link-exchange' directory as a link, in exchange for that domain to link back to Radefiye. Another helpful way of promoting Radefiye is using the custom Radefiye forum signature picture. Domains that add themselves to the Radefiye 'crawl/link-exchange' directory and do not link back to Radefiye are abusing their privileges.
What is Link Shorten?:
Link Shorten is a feature of Radefiye that allows the shortening of a long URL to a formulated Radefiye quick link. In example, you can add a long URL such as 'http://www.radefiye.com/example/123456789/abcdefghi/other/index.php?a=123' and Radefiye will shorten it to 'http://www.radefiye.com/s/ababa'. This is useful when you would like to use a short link instead of a long one, but still linking to the original URL.
Why Allow Pop-ups and JavaScript?:
The Radefiye Network has some pages that use JavaScript and need Pop-ups in order to function fully. Radefiye will never allow advertising through pop-ups and will only use pop-ups for pages such as 'Connection Terms' and other pages such as the upload page. JavaScript is even more important as it helps the upload process a lot and also allows certain advanced scripts to run. Many websites use JavaScript in order to be more enjoyable and advanced. To enable pop-ups please setup pop-ups in your internet browser.
